Stamptastic Personalised Stamps and Gifts

Stamptastic Review from Instagram Mum, Louise (Lifewithlouise_)

We were kindly gifted a personalised stamp from Stamptastic and we have been loving it. Lots of you may think, Henry is only 6 months old and wouldn’t possibly need a Personalised Name Stamp! Well, coming from a primary school teacher and previously an Early Years Practitioner, this rubber stamp will prove to be priceless.

We have been looking at nurseries recently and know all of Henry’s clothes will need labelling. Children go through countless outfits during nursery – messy play, mealtimes and just general activities will result in a much-needed change of clothes especially when the dreaded potty training comes around. I will need to send in numerous outfits which will all need to be labelled. I have many memories of evenings watching TV with my mum and seeing her sew in hundreds of labels into all my school uniform. She even used to label my brother’s socks! The thought of sewing Henry’s name in all his clothes, like my Mum did for me filled me with dread. This is why the thought of a Personalised Name Stamp with his name sounded AMAZING!

Let’s go back to the first step of purchasing your stamp. The website is easy to navigate and order your very own stamp! I feel a sense of the old M&S advert coming on. This isn’t just a stamp…. On the order page, there is a wide variety of ways that you can personalise your stamp to suit your little one. You can do this using a choice of fonts and pictures. The teacher in me loved the fonts using a cursive a, which won't confuse little readers. I was definitely tempted by the dinosaur but I chose to design Henry's stamp with the Lego man because I know that this will be loved by Henry for years to come! I have a feeling that his class mates will be very envious of the little lego picture next to his name in his jumper! However, these stamps can be personalised any way that you would like. You can design your stamps with names, phone numbers, class name etc. These stamps are definitely the best alternative for sew/iron on name labels!

I was surprised to find out that this Ink Pad is designed to last 2 years or up to 2000 impressions. Imagine how many socks I could stamp of Henry’s. Imagine if all our parents had this stamper, they would have saved so much time! This stamp took me seconds to stamp several pieces of clothing and will enable me to spend more time doing the important stuff like spending time as a family.

Another positive factor about the stamp is that it can be used on a variety of different materials including fabric, metal or wood. You could label all sorts! Pencil cases, wooden toys, school bags and bags. Super convenient!

So my first impressions of the Stamptastic have all been positive. The stamp hasn’t faded after several washes and shows no sign that it will. I'm glad I've dodged the job of sewing Henry's name in all his clothes. There's so many dreaded jobs as parents aren't there?!
