My name is Angela Smith and I design and make beaded jewellery. I am also a founder member of Staffordshire Artists Cooperative which opened Gallery at 12 in Eccleshall back on 2009.
I started making jewellery almost 25 years ago, it started when my fascination with beaded earrings led me to a bead shop where I bought a kit for six pairs of earrings - I was literally “hooked”.
2019 is a big year for me - I will be celebrating 25 years of jewellery making in January and it is also The Staffordshire Artists Cooperative tenth anniversary so we will be planning a few events in May.
With my jewellery I am planning a few changes in designs and direction in my business - my key word for next year is exclusive and my aim is to keep my designs simple, concentrating mainly on earrings, weddings and workshops, I shall be aiming to create some exclusive designs for individual shops/galleries and also introducing exclusive one to one workshops.
At the moment I use my Custom Stamp as a header stamp for my earring and brooch display cards. The customised Rubber Stamp is also perfect for personalising my jewellery boxes.
