Starting School: Fine Motor Skills Activity Card
If your child is starting big school in september then this activity is great to help them develop their fine motor skills.
A motor skill is simply an action that involves using muscles, fine motor skills are movements using smaller muscles. Children who develop their fine motor skills will be more independent at school because they can manage their zips and buttons when getting dressed, use cutlery, cut with scissors (left handed) (right handed) and begin drawing and writing.
