Congratulations! You just made your life that little bit easier with a personalised name stamp for school clothes and other belongings. No more sewing, sticky or iron on name labels that fall off, or hastily drawn initials in permanent marker. Be it for school uniform, nursery clothes or clothes of a loved one in a care home, Stamptastic's name stamps are the ultimate hack!
Let’s not waste any more time - here’s our guide to making the most of your personalised name stamp!
Before you start
-
For best results, stamp directly onto a care label. Ink will withstand at least 50 washes without fading when pressed onto these materials.
-
Always stamp with a smooth, hard surface behind.
-
Practice using your stamp on some spare paper first to get the hang of things.
The method
Lightly press the name stamp (rubber material face down) into the ink pad, then lightly press the stamp onto the desired surface. Try to keep the stamp as still as possible while stamping - as wiggling it might make the ink blur.

Preserving your stamp and ink
We’ve made our stamps and ink pads with high quality materials, but even the best product needs looking after to maintain its lifespan! Here are our tips to make sure your stamp and inks last a long time:
-
Ensure your ink pad is stored in the provided sealed plastic wallet between uses. This maximise its longevity.
-
Avoid direct sunlight and heat while storing your ink and stamp.
Safety tips
We know it might seem obvious, but we have to say:
-
Clothes can be worn 2-3 minutes after being stamped.
-
This stamp is not a toy and should be kept away from children.
-
In case of contact with eyes or open wounds, rinse thoroughly with clean water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists.
